7 Ways To Improve Your Life In 7 Days
|
Choose to be Happy
Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy.
Make Time for Yourself
Too many things to do? Not enough time? Stop. You need a break. Now. At a minimum take a minute, and do "nothing". Look out the window, daydream, think of something luxurious, think of something good. For yourself. This important little exercise can refresh you and helps to clear your mind.
Take a Breath
Take a deep breath, hold it, then let it out. Now do it again. This is an excellent way to reduce tension and stress and only takes a few moments. Do this several times throughout the day. Don't forget to breathe!
Help Someone
A simple act of helping someone can make you feel good about yourself. It doesn't have to be a major undertaking. A smile, a simple compliment, a kind word, telling someone you appreciate them is often all it takes.
Take a Hike
Regular exercise is very beneficial to your health and, next to swimming, walking is the single best exercise you can do. It's easy and requires little or no equipment. Take a brisk walk for 30 minutes. Every day. This is an excellent way to build stamina, tone muscles and maybe even shed a few of those extra pounds along the way.
Be Grateful
Be grateful for the things that you do have. As the old saying goes, "I complained because I had no shoes. Until I met a man who had no feet".
Have a Purpose
According to http://DestinyFinders.com each of us has a unique, special rewarding something we are destined to do in life. A life purpose. Find your life purpose. And live it.
These 7 things can help you improve your life in just 7 days. They can help you gain more positive control over your life. They can help boost your self-esteem. Together, they can improve you physically, mentally and spiritually.

Boost Your Productivity With Sixty Minutes A Day
How you spend the first sixty minutes of your day will affect your productivity and achievements ? everyday. Most people launch into the day without a second thought; we arrive at the office, unbundle our bags, grab a coffee and start responding to telephones, emails and colleagues ? often all at the same time. It's hardly surprising that most people feel like their days are out of control as they fly from one task to the next, and when there is a lull in the excitement ? they wonder what to do. It's an exhausting, unsatisfying and unproductive way to work. Even if you are in a position where you need to respond to many demands, investing in the fi...(related: Time Management)
Shifting Priorities Are The Norm
Years ago when I started in this business, it seemed many clients had difficulty identifying their priorities. This isn't as true today as it was then. Unfortunately, now what I hear clients say is?'I can identify my priorities with no problem, but I can't get to them. At the end of the day I look up and realize I never got to the one thing I needed to do.' We are all busier today than ever before. A certain amount of chaos in our lives has become acceptable. But it has also cost us focus. Here are a ...(related: Time Management)
Perfekt!

Do you believe that everything you do has to be absolutely perfect? Although striving for excellence is a good thing to do, demanding perfection in everything you do is not.Often, perfectioni...(related: Time Management)
Time Is Money - Dont Waste It
"If you control your time, you control your life" - Alan Lakein (1973)Time is Money. Time is a precious commodity and everyone gets an equal share, but we use it differently. Even different societies have different attitudes towards times. One thing about time is that it is elusive; it cannot be changed, and once it is gone, it is gone forever. According to a saying, 'Time and tide wait for no one'. Our situation and needs influence our time orientation, but our time orientation (and needs) can be changed and that should lead to a more successful life.Vilfredo Pareto, an early twentieth century Italian Economist, formulated what most of us call the '80-20 Rule', technically known as the 'law of maldistribution'. This rule states that "80 percent of our effort is spent on unnecessary activity and only 20 p...(related: Time Management)
Self Care
What does it mean to practice self care? It's creating a space and a healthy mind and body to support you in being the best you can be. If your space is filled with chaos, drama, disorganization, sadness and negativity then greatness cannot easily occur. We have so...(related: Time Management)
Everythings Blurry Except For You
Riding the subway home yesterday, my typically silent car was enlivened by two young girls and their mothers who hopped on. The girls, 7 years old or so, immediately danced over to the upright pole in the middle of the aisle and started twirling around it. After several minutes of this, giggling and talking an...(related: Time Management)
The Key To High Productivity Is Energy Management
One of the issues most often raised by my clients is better time management. People have tried prioritizing tasks, blocking out parts of their day for certain tasks, implementing new systems and getting better at delegation. While all of those things can make a difference, there is something else that will have an even greater impact on your productivity. The key to high productivity is energy management more so than time management.Let me start to explain this concept by way of an exa...(related: Time Management)
Put A Couple Of Elephants On Your Plate
How do you eat two elephants? The same way you would eat one; one bite at a time. Monstrous tasks often appear to be complex and overwhelming. That's why it's so very important to isolate the parts from the whole. Break your elephant-sized project into several smaller tasks. Identify one area and cut it down to size. Lather, rinse, and eat. The key is to begin! It doesn't ma...(related: Time Management)
